This hotel is excellently located for those like myself who depend on public transport - the station is less than 5 minutes away, buses even closer. I really enjoyed my three-night visit, the food was excellent and the welcome outstanding. Given the all-round quality, I thought it offered terrific value for money.

This was the perfect stop on the way to catch the ferry to Skye. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious. They also provided us with a packed breakfast since we had an early departure. Very friendly staff.

This is a stop not to be missed if you are touring the west coast of Scotland. Ina and Keiron run a small but lovely hotel with a superb restaurant. Our room (with four poster bed) was very comfortable and had the loveliest bed linen. The Nespresso machine (for coffee and tea) was a marvellous surprise in our room as was the complementary whiskey for a wee dram should we so desire it. Dinner here was a standout - probably the best that we had during our recent trip to the UK. We booked the restaurant at the same time as we booked our accommodation at The Prince's House Hotel, the other option being the bistro/bar area, and it was a delight from start to finish. Service from Ina was first class, the wine list was very good and Keiron's cooking left us gob-smacked as course after course of the freshest, local produce appeared before us. They certainly deserve the awards that they have been afforded over the years and more. I had a look at the bistro/bar menu the next morning when we were checking out and it was anything but the usual "bar" menu containing some of the elements of last night's dinner but with variations. Breakfast in the restaurant area the next morning was great as well (same care and attention and fresh ingredients as the night before) and gave us another opportunity to view the couple's fantastic art collection that is on display there. If you are planning on visiting Scotland and can fit in a stay at The Prince's House Hotel in your itinerary, then do not hesitate. We will certainly be back at some point.

Room Tip: We stayed in the front room with four poster bed (Stuart Room I believe) so cannot comment on any of the other rooms which we did not view. We can certainly recommend the room that we had. Due to the design of the building some of the rooms may have sloping ceilings so, if like me, this is an issue for you, suggest that you check with Ina or Keiron before booking as to which room best suits your requirements.

Lovely welcome from Ina. Great food, beautifully cooked and presented. Comfortable room. Impressed with the paintings in the breakfast room and also the lovely crockery used in the dining areas and in the rooms.

We spent just one night at this place but still we find it very pleasant. The room with the view on the mountains has nice furniture and is quite big. The atmosphere is nice and calm. The food is very tasty and surprisingly the breakfast is quite different from typical Scottish. One may feel like home here.
