My husband, 4 year old daughter, and I had only 1 (very rainy!) night to spend in Pierrefonds - and happened upon this restaurant by suggestion from our B&B hosts (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/967502). It was fantastic - an amazing meal at a realistic price (and away from Paris!). The squash soup was delicious - a "thumbs up" from our tiny diner! We visited on May 1 - a holiday in France - and as such, most places were closed. There were only 2 or 3 other tables of guests in the restaurant - and a very charming man and woman having a lovely dinner next to us certainly added to our great experience! Our server was extremely helpful - especially considering our limited French - and even brought the chef out to meet our curious daughter. We were delighted! We had such a wonderful relaxing dinner that we didn't want to leave - and they were gracious enough to stay a little later for us. Hopefully we will return again someday! Merci beaucoup!
