Owner description: Bembridge RNLI Lifeboat Station is situated at the eastern end of the Isle of Wight. There is a IWC Car Park adjacent. Except over Christmas, the Offshore Boathouse & Shop are open to visitors every day from 2pm - 4pm and from 11am to 4pm during school half terms, the Easter holidays and from 30th June to 28th October. When we are open there is always a Visitors guide in the Offshore Boathouse to assist & answer questions. We regularly launch for training on a Tuesday evening (7pm) - check our website to see when the next training launch will be and do come down to the Offshore Boathouse to watch if you are around.

Very informative and well worth the visit. The man on duty was very interesting and answered our questions and gave us a good talk about the lifeboats and the area.

Having watched the lifeboat towing a small cabin cruiser during the recent treacherous weather we visited the station in the hopes that we would see the lifeboat return.....the next day we visited the station accompanied by a volunteer who gave us a very interesting talk and explained just about everything that we needed to know. We were told that the previous day the lifeboat had not returned until about 4pm having had to tow this cabin cruiser to Portsmouth since Bembridge Harbour had been inaccessible due to the inclement weather. Thoroughly recommend a visit.

While staying at Warners Bembridge we attended an open day at the life boat station. We had interesting talks and saw a display in the sea of a rescue. It was lifelike and some thought it was real.
