The hotel is ideally situated, not far to walk to the beach. Lots of great Restaurants to eat and a lovely pub just down the road.
Our room was lovely and the bedding and towels were of excellent quality.
The shower room was immaculate with lovely soft towels.
Coffe and tea making also available as was biscuits and a jar of sweets.
Ideally placed for the bus stop across the road as was the Post Office and General Store.
The breakfast was amazing, from a full English to various egg dishes also pancakes. One had to just ask and it was available.
Would certainly go again and I highly reccomend it.

This B & B is located on Fore Street in Beer, just a few minutes walk from a pebbly beach. The twin room that I shared with a friend was clean and tidy, had tea and coffee making facilities which were replenished daily, including biscuits. There was a jar of toffees in the room, which I must admit we partook of freely!
The breakfasts were good and the service was excellent, the hop on hop off bus stops across the road which was great, There is a lovely walk from Beer to Branscombe via the coast path ( very up and down) or over the top which is much easier. There are several places to eat in Beer.

I have only one very small criticism, we were friends sharing a room and we were supplied to 2 very large bath towels but only given 1 hand towel between us, I have never actually come across this before, we did ask for an extra towel and were given one.

Room Tip: Room number 6, was very quiet.

We revisited Beer for a weekend break and stayed at Durham House for the first time. The Hotel is on the High Street, a short pleasant walk to the beach. We were left a welcome pack with all the info we needed, keys and a free parking pass. We later met our host Richard , who is friendly and welcoming. Our room was lovely, clean, cosy and ample supplies of tea, coffee, milk etc. The jar of sweeties was a lovely thoughtful addition. The breakfast was delicious , nothing was too much trouble, you only have to ask. Our stay in Beer was so lovely and only improved by the stay at Durham House. We will definately be back
