As someone with coeliac disease, I need to be very careful about what I eat. I duly rang to check out gluten free possibilities and was informed that ‘we always have gluten free bread as a relative has coeliac disease and we know what it’s like’. We went down on the first morning and no bread was available!! Luckily I’d brought my own, but really hadn’t thought it would be necessary.
They only allow 45 minutes for cooked breakfast, which I think is a bit tight. Some guests were five minutes late down on our second day and were asked if they wanted breakfast. When they said yes, they were told they should have been down five minutes earlier, then told it wasn’t a problem, which it clearly was from the body language of the host. Out by 10.15 is a bit early too!
Clean and comfortable, but not very welcoming.More
