This truly is a stunning property. The room was gorgeous with the four poster bed, an open fire in the lounge brought about a warm cozy feel and breakfast was fabulous but it was the service that was the standout for us. Would highly recommend!

We booked a manor indulgence package that included the room, 4 course dinner, full breakfast and complimentary items.
We were initially disappointed as a two night for one promotion came out just after we had booked, so the "value" of our package immediately evaporated.

However, on arrival, we were upgraded to a Sequoia suite - the latest, and as yet not officially opened, offering from Mt Lofty House. This suite was magnificent, with state of art technology and luxury. Did I mention the view (see photo)?

Our dinner in Hardys Verandah Restaurant was 3 hat but if we're honest it was a little underwhelming and wines were ridiculously overpriced.

On the other hand, breakfast in the Picadilly restaurant was excellent!

Special mention to Reception Supervisor Lisa who presented a very professional and attentive first impression.

A wonderful welcome with a glass of sparkling wine; an escarpment suite (Sequoia) that was luxurious and felt 'secluded'; a sensational dining experience at Hardy's Verandah (special mention to Jesse and Liinaa); decadent breakfasts each morning in the Piccadilly restaurant with views that rival any we've experienced throughout the world; and luscious cocktails in the Arthur Waterhouse Lounge of an evening. While we only stayed two nights it truly felt like a much longer getaway that's how relaxing and rejuvenating it felt. The secret ingredient? Staff who go well beyond above and beyond and who seem to really love what they do and where they work, and care about their guests having the best experience possible. Sensational!
