Have stayed here on several occasions and always been satisfied. Large family gathering (53 people) for Easter weekend. Hotel was very comfortable and staff could not have been better, assisting with all celebrations. Food and service were all excellent. Will return and recommend for any gatherings.

We booked early for a one-night stay on a Saturday as we would be attending a wedding at nearby Bassmead Barns. We later decided to also book for the preceding Friday night as the wedding was timed for 2pm. This would allow plenty of time on the Saturday to prepare for the wedding. As we had two separate bookings we asked the hotel to ensure that we kept the same room for both nights. After a few issues this was done for us.
The hotel is easy to find and is signed from the A1. Upon arrival check-in was easy and the receptionist pleasant and helpful. Our room was on the ground floor and easily found. Once inside we unpacked our bags and had an opportunity to check the facilities. The room was smaller than expected for an ‘executive’ hotel, but it was clean.
There was an iron and ironing board, a trouser press and a safe, all included in the price. The refreshments included bottled water, tea, coffee, milk and one packet of two biscuits, with a kettle to boil water. There was a shower room with basin and toilet, and included two hand towels and two bath towels. There were also the usual small bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The water issuing from the shower was vey hot indeed, and had to be regulated to almost its lowest temperature setting. The volume of water from the shower was very good. We did think that a refrigerator should have been present – especially as we had a celebratory bottle of champagne to keep cold.
Our double room had what seemed to be a double bed, but it turned out to be two single mattresses pushed together and covered with double bedding. This did not make for the most comfortable sleep, and there was a definite hollow in the centre of the bed.
As the weather was pretty bad – plenty of snow and very cold – we decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant. The standard of the food and wine was adequate and the prices were reasonable. The bar prices were similarly not too daunting – receiving plenty of change from £15 for a gin and tonic and a pint of Guinness. We did not have breakfast in the hotel, so cannot comment on the variety and quality offered. At a total of £54 for the two of us to have breakfast on both days we decided that a better deal could be had elsewhere.
Having booked online via a specialist web site we paid about two thirds of the ‘rack rate’ for each night’s stay. Had we paid the full rate then we would have been quite disappointed with the room. At the price we paid it was just acceptable. We did try to book the Friday night direct with the hotel, but the price was 50% greater than that just seen on a dedicated hotel booking site. It was explained that the hotel’s direct price allowed ‘flexibility’ in case of cancellation. Having pointed out that we did not need flexibility the hotel told us that the price remained the same. Inevitably we booked again via the same specialist web site that we used for the original booking and saved 33%.
The hotel is clearly geared towards event handling. A major travel company was using the hotel during our stay. Anyone considering this hotel for personal use (as we were) would do well to forego the ‘executive’ billing and stay in nearby chain hotels at a much lower price. We have stayed at airport Premier Inns on several occasions and, quite honestly, the standards are comparable.

It has been a couple years since I last stayed here. The improvements made to the rooms are very well done. Everything is upgraded. Attentive staff, nice food and drinks, as always. The real upswing is in the comfortability of the rooms. I will return here.

Stayed in the willow suite.
Had all what we needed for a one night stay.
You need to get a cab if you want to visit st neots which is roughly £10 so not to far.
Pleasure staying and we would definitely stay again

I've stayed here a number of times. The rooms have been renovated and done up! Very comfortable now. Only downside is in such a big building, it can feel a bit empty. I don't tend to eat in the hotel restaurant as the menu doesn't really appeal to me. I prefer to go out to the local restaurants, good variety of choice nearby
