After navigating the scary windy road to the top - it's all worth it because the views from my balcony were stunning. Quiet hotel with fantastic, friendly and attentive staff. I stayed for 4 nights and loved every minute of it. Great restaurant and delicious breakfasts - Mama Miralago was up at 4am each morning freshly baking bread and making yogurt. Perfect location to explore this part of Italy - but you do need a car and nerves of steel to drive up the mountain!

Room tip: choose a room with a balcony and a view

This gem of a hotel was a real find. the rooms were spotless, views sublime, terrace divine and food utterly delicious. But what really was the jewel in the crown was the wonderful service we received from every member of the staff. This is a family run business and their passion for treating guests as though this was their home was evident. considering how hard they work (the same faces were there morning and evening). The enthusiasm and attention to detail as well as their interest in finding out what brought us to Bossico and how we enjoyed each day was lovely and heartfelt. I will not stay anywhere else when I return to this area. It made my trip very special and I left feeling like I had made new friends.

Room tip: Ask for room with a balcony - the view of Lake Iseo from this elevated position is stunning.

If you like driving hairpins, you can find this great "little" hotel right in the middle of Bossico, about 900 mtr. above Lake Iseo with some outstanding views. And if you like a friendly, charming family, who takes really good care of their guests, you have found your place to stay. We stayed 2 nights middle of May and was welcomed with a big smile by the daughter of the house, Ornella. This is real Italy, but Ornella spoke pretty good English, and she was very informative and helpful about things to do in or around Bossico and Lake Iseo. Miralago belongs to the Arrigetthi family, who dates back more than 5 centuries and they just seem to love working at their nice hotel. And beside nice rooms, wonderful views etc. they have a master Chef in the kitchen, uncle Bruno. He and his staff makes really good tipico Italian food with mostly local products, and everything we had was just delicious, tasty and served with a smile from Ornella. There are some amazing hikes you can make from this hotel with great to wonderful views of the lake below or snow covered mountains above. Especially Monte Colombina took our breath away. We had a wonderful time, thank you to all the family at Miralago.

The road to Bossico is a little bit chalanging with all the mountain curves but it worth every mile. The view from the our room was amazing and the food in the restaurant was the best we had in Italy so far. It is a family run hotel and the staff is incradible, polite and charming. We didn't want to leave :)

The road to the hotel is very windy, but its worth the trip. The view when the weather allows is lovely , but the best thing here are the people and the food.
The food was probably the best we ve had in two years of travelling in Italy , so simple yet so tasty , and the family here were the nicest people ever. Would love to see them again. highly recommended.
