It was a nice place to spend holiday and all my fiends liked it. It was comfortable and beautiful. It did leave us a good memory. Although the signal and internet might be a general problem of the isle of skye, but it left us more time to enjoy the nature view. Sorry for the mistake on check-out time and leaving in a hurry without putting things away.
Gorgeous location with views over the loch, comfy clean cottage, well equipped kitchen but also good pub food available nearby at Munros Bar at Taigh Ailean Hotel. We've had fabulous weather three times on Skye and will return to Skye and this cottage.
Excellent cottage in a picturesque location. From walking into the cottage it made you feel home from home. Our boys loved it and were out and about exploring in no time. This helped with the fact that there was NO WIFI! This place is ideal as a base camp for further exploration.
Spent 3 days in Skye and this was a great place to stay. Everything you needed was provided (especially the kitchen which we used for cooking a lot) very clean accommodation throughout and lovely large living space. Beautiful views and great for bird watching out of the large windows!!
Nice local pub which is a very short drive. You could walk but it would be along a busy 60mph road.
Very close to many attractions and about a 30 minute drive to Portree. We Recommend the Talisker Distillery tour - £8 for about a 45minute tour and then they give you a £5 voucher to spend. We booked in advance the day before as it was very busy and people where having to wait a few hours for the tour.
Dunvegan Castle is also a nice drive from the cottage. And make sure to go on the boat trip to see the seals. It was £7 which is quite expensive but lovely to see wild and happy seals.
