“Wow”
Reviewed 19 December 2011 for a stay in December 2011

We were looking for somewhere special to stay for a special birthday and found Manor House Stables which we thought looked really nice. We stayed in the Hayloft and Wow what a wonderful place the photos do not do it justice. The extra little touches made our stay even more enjoyable especially the christmas tree. We loved every minute of our stay and would like to thank Sherry and Irven for their wonderful hospitality. We will definately be back and recommend Manor House to everyone reading this.

“A little gem !”
Reviewed 6 December 2011 for a stay in December 2011

This was our second stay at the Hayloft and glad to say, yet again it was faultless in every way. This time I would even go as far as to say it was even more inviting and cosy with the real christmas tree ! We also hired the Bothy (accommodation on the ground floor) at the same time as some friends were with us and they were equally impressed. Sherry and Irvin made us all feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The welcome pack was indeed very welcome and the best we have ever received even including full size organic butter to go with the organic lincolnshire plum loaf and a basket of fresh vegetables, lincolnshire sausages and for that extra festive touch, xmas pudding and mulled wine. In our party we had a 17,15 and 11year old who all enjoyed their stay here, we played many of the board games in the evenings and they all said it was great to have "family time".The accommodation is very clean and the towels and bathrobes were soft and smelt fresh. All the little extras were provided including dishwasher tablets, spare toilet rolls and even bubblebath. I would definately stay here again for a 3rd 4th and 5th time, a real little gem!

“"Hayloft Heaven"”
Reviewed 6 November 2011 for a stay in November 2011

We were looking for complete relaxation with luxury accommodation and after reading previous reviews and looking at the lovely pictures we decided to stay in the Hayloft.

When we arrived we were greeted by Sherry, a lovely lady, very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We booked the evening meal, which was beautifully cooked by Sherry for our first night - this was absolutely gorgeous!! It actually lasted us for the following two nights as her portion sizes were extremely generous and it also saved us cooking or venturing out from the cosy Hayloft.

This place has to be seen to be believed!!! EVERYTHING is of the upmost quality, spotlessly clean and spacious. We stayed in chilly November and all we did each evening was light the wonderful wood burner and were instantly warm and cosy!! The hamper is full of tasty treats thoroughly enjoyed by us, along with the well-stocked fridge on arrival. A jolly good bottle of wine and fresh flowers left on the table along with a welcome card, were just a few of the personal touches that make "Manor House Stables" in a world of their own. The copper bath is another story, complete and total bliss!!!!! Sitting deep in a mountain of bubbles, looking up at the array of colourful stars on the ceiling, with the warmth of the wood burner, just gives you the most wonderful feeling. The bathroom is filled with soft fluffy towels, bathrobes and every toiletry you could wish for.

If there is one thing you must do before you leave this side of the earth it is book a stay in the Hayloft - We can guarantee you will not be disappointed. We aim to make this a repeatable treat to recharge and indulge.

Congratulations to Sherry and Irven for creating this little piece of paradise.

“Excellent Rental in Lincolnshire”
Reviewed 23 October 2011 for a stay in October 2011

We stayed in the Hayloft, for 3 nights, at the end of our trip, but wished we had longer.
Sherry is a lovely person; always willing to help, and supplies an INCREDIBLE "Welcome Pack" upon arrival (we purchased very few groceries during our 3 day stay, and did not eat out!)
The rental is very comfortable and spacious for a couple, and is equipped with everything you could want and need. The bathroom is "spa-like", with a sauna, elaborate shower, whirlpool bath, and mood lighting! You also have your own private backyard, with lounges, a swing & BBQ. Unfortunately, it was a bit cold for us take full advantage of it, and we were too busy enjoying Lincolnshire during our short stay.
We were surprised with how much the area has to offer, within a short drive in any direction. And if you are cycling, as we did, you will be thrilled with the number of quiet country roads criss-crossing Lincolnshire, not to mention the canal cycle path ,which can take you all the way to Nottingham, I believe!

“A perfect birthday treat”

I treated my husband to a weekend away with friends at Manor House Stables for his 30th birthday. Sherry and Irvan were fantastic hosts. They greeted us on arrival making sure we had everything we needed and provided us with a beautiful LINCOLNSHIRE food and drink hamper. The barn had EVERYTHING we could have asked for AND MORE including; food, utensils, a gorgeous tin bath, sauna, games, local walking guides and the list goes on. We finished the weekend off by doing a bread making workshop with a home cooked meal and wine. What a special weekend, we didn't want to leave and we will be sure to be back in the future. Thanks Gemma, Simon, Dave & Charlotte Xx
