As others had said it was frequented by what looked like locals so thought we'd give it a go. Crepes lovely, pyranneen salad was really nice and the lad had an 'American' - some sort of super burger with fries which he managed to polish off eventually. Nice to sit outside but on our day there were a lot of flies about, perhaps a bit unlucky. Nice host, price ok 8-11euros and they did loads of leffe which is always a bonus

Still haven't eaten here, and just come for the beer and the atmosphere.

Drinking outside at the tables is clearly the thing for tourists to do here, but I love to drink inside amid the wonderfully chaotic surroundings of shop shelves, betting counter, ice cream fridge and assorted half cut, verbose yet friendly locals.

Top bar in town by a mile.

On the square, nice to sit outside and people watch, they serve food and snacks and all the locals (catalans) use it, very friendly and when the cold forced us in one day we discovered they had a betting shop setup in the rear part of the bar !

We had a quick lunch here - a savoury pancake and a demi pichet of local red wine. Our waiter for very friendly and helpful, the service was quick and the food was cheap and absolutely fine. The wine was exactly what you would expect for the price (less than a glass of wine in England) and perfectly drinkable.

It isn't grand dining by any means but is a very nice local bar to stop off for a bite to eat.
