We spent a week there this July and can't speak highly enough about the staff or the facilities. The restaurant was amazing as well, the food there was the best we had on our month long stay in Italy. We spent the first few nights in the older part of the building. The room was very clean but lots of stairs so that could be an issue for some. The remaining part of our stay was at the new building, right by the pool. The room was gorgeous, clean, large with a lovely jet tub. The pool was great as well. overall value for the money, this spot can't be beat. Location was very central. When we first were driving in we were concerned as there were some large buildings nearby and we were accustomed to staying at agriturismo's that were a bit more remote. We were pleased though once on the grounds, as it is quiet and beautiful.

Special shout out to our awesome waiter Giuseppe and the cook Giuseppe and Gabriel who took such great care of us while we were there.

Room Tip: New rooms are larger, updated and close to the pool!

Wonderful Agriturismo close to the medieval city of Rutigliano, beatiful main building with broad history, very nice rooms also in the second building that is built in conformance with the historic design of the whole estate. Pool is not too big but absolutely sufficient for a few days of sunbathing and swimming. Great breakfast buffet and tasty dinner with typical local food. Very gentle and friendly staff. The self-produced products from the Agriturismo are a perfect souvenier to complete a great stay at the Masseria.

Rooms lovely, new and clean. Meal and settings for dinner was rustic. Enjoyed discussing the local agricultural production and table grape production with the owners. A great way to launch our trip into Puglia.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Staff really friendly and helpful throughout, from arrival to departure.
We stayed in the annex, and room was spacious with everything you need.Bed very comfy and all very clean and fresh. Lovely modern bathroom. The only thing to note is that the towels were the cotton/linen type, and really quite useless. However, the star of the show was the dining room in the main building. It was just beautiful. Tastefully renovated and furnished in a shabby chic style with many original features and artefacts retained throughout. We had dinner on 2 nights, the 1st in the small dining room where we were lucky enough to have a window alcove seat and the 2nd in the main part, which was equally lovely and with some lovely touches like fresh flowers in pots on each table. The food itself was delicious, and I actually think I ate one of the best pasta dishes ever. Breakfast also delicious with a good selection of both sweet and savoury to choose from. Good wifi throughout and a lovely pool though our visit in March was too early for a dip.
Perfect as a base to explore the area. We went to Alberobello, the Castellana caves and Polignanoa Mare, all worth a visit.
I would certainly recommend the Lama San Giorgio, and will hopefully return for another mini break before too long.

We were there for a Sunday family lunch.
Fortunately our table was in the small room and was not so laud.
The internal design was very nice and the menu proposed (fix one as in all agriturismos) was good balanced for quantity and prices.
There was a kids menu for the half of the price 28€.
All around there are some grapes cultivations and olive fields.
There also some animals for
Kids.
There's not a big possibility for walking.
