My stay at Kenya bay was just okay nothing to write home about their menu was full of Indian food I was not okay with that keeping in mind I had a child the food was not good at all but their desert was wonderful their rooms were average the ac worked perfect nice room service but their towels are just too old carry your own towel if you visit them their mini fridge in the rooms were not working and they are old and dirty their blow dry were not working rather than that the hotel is next to the beach it was really nice having a walk along the beach early morning their swimming pool was really nice they had nice Maasai men entertaining us every evening during our stay there but they need to work on their waiters I did not understand why specific tables had to be reserved for specific guest at the dining area yet we all pay for the services and funny thing all the guest who had a privilege of having a table reserved for them were all white that was really wrong and racist the dining should be accessible to anyone anytime so long we all payed to be there ohh one last tip they charge for refreshing drinks taken during any meal yet you pay fullboard I have travelled but came across this at Kenya bay only they should offer that as part of the dinner

This was my second visit to the Kenya bay hotel. I was not impressed this time. The hotel is definitely looking tired and in need of some refurbishment. Some of the rooms are looking scruffy and need attention.
Our room was simple and on first look clean. But on further inspection, the shower was dirty ,sealer going black. Towels were well worn. The bed sheets were Marked. Wiring coming away from the wall socket. The fridge was dirty, and so was the bathroom( even after housekeeping)
The sliding patio door lock was broken,( apiece of wood placed to keep it locked!!!!!)
Air conditioning very noisy( improved after complaint)
Staff friendly,but a bit understaffed.
Ok hotel ,but I wouldn't return here again.

Spent 3 nights at Kenya Bay with my family. Very clean, comfortable and quiet location. Great sand on the beach and staff always available for help. The adequately sized swimming pool and entertainment from the local artists are pretty cool. Totally worth it!

I liked almost everything, rooms were clean and wonderfully organized, air-con was working, safe in the room was also working, the mini fridge was also on point. I also liked the dancers and entertainment crew during the evening. The swimming pool was good and clean. The view of the ocean while basking at Kenya Bay is breathtaking. KUDOS!! However too much sea weed on the beach, but when you walk a few metre the water is very clear and good for swimming and would you believe it, while swimming there are fish which swim with you!!!

This was the third time my family and i visited Kenya Bay and feel that we have to share this wonderful experience with others.
This time our stay was for a destination wedding and it was wonderfully organised by the management and staff from handling late group check ins, room allocations to event setups/decorations and to top it up wonderful dining experience.
We recommend Kenya bay to all

Room Tip: Rooms close to the beach are super
