Stayed for a day in January 2018 and it's a lovely place,a beach front and lovely place. Have a history with kenya bay so was nice to be back..food is great and you have to all major attractions from the other beach hotels to the citymall, pubs and shopping malls.

Spent one night at the hotel after exactly an year. Was pleasantly surprised by a new coat of paint in the hotel. The room was very nice with all the amenities. Ac worked much better than last time. Room was clean. Tea time was good with complimentary cake beverages. Right on the sea front facing the lovely ocean with superb views. Dinner was nice with variety. Will definitely come back. Staff were friendly too.

My stay at Kenya bay was just okay nothing to write home about their menu was full of Indian food I was not okay with that keeping in mind I had a child the food was not good at all but their desert was wonderful their rooms were average the ac worked perfect nice room service but their towels are just too old carry your own towel if you visit them their mini fridge in the rooms were not working and they are old and dirty their blow dry were not working rather than that the hotel is next to the beach it was really nice having a walk along the beach early morning their swimming pool was really nice they had nice Maasai men entertaining us every evening during our stay there but they need to work on their waiters I did not understand why specific tables had to be reserved for specific guest at the dining area yet we all pay for the services and funny thing all the guest who had a privilege of having a table reserved for them were all white that was really wrong and racist the dining should be accessible to anyone anytime so long we all payed to be there ohh one last tip they charge for refreshing drinks taken during any meal yet you pay fullboard I have travelled but came across this at Kenya bay only they should offer that as part of the dinner

This was my second visit to the Kenya bay hotel. I was not impressed this time. The hotel is definitely looking tired and in need of some refurbishment. Some of the rooms are looking scruffy and need attention.
Our room was simple and on first look clean. But on further inspection, the shower was dirty ,sealer going black. Towels were well worn. The bed sheets were Marked. Wiring coming away from the wall socket. The fridge was dirty, and so was the bathroom( even after housekeeping)
The sliding patio door lock was broken,( apiece of wood placed to keep it locked!!!!!)
Air conditioning very noisy( improved after complaint)
Staff friendly,but a bit understaffed.
Ok hotel ,but I wouldn't return here again.
