This was our sixth stay here. Got married here. Conceived our child here. Had her naming day here. Last night we were kindly upgraded to the honeymoon suite for our stay. We were last here in April and the new decor in many of common areas has just added to the wonderful feeling of the place. It’s so beautiful. The staff were all very friendly no matter what time of day or night. They let us freely roam the building to have a wander at anything we may have missed. The new courtyard is beautiful and romantic. We ordered room service as usual. The chef was accommodating to our requests and the staff were lovely. The food wasn’t amazing at evening meal or breakfast but I’m still not taking a star away from the experience as the whole thing still deserves the best rating. Can’t wait for our next stay.

Lovely country house situated in beautiful grounds . Having read recent reviews regarding the Orangery Restaurant we almost gave it a miss but am so glad that we ignored the reviews as the food was excellent service was outstanding. Special mention has to go to Naomi for her warm happy demeanour and nothing seemed to be a bother for her. Big thanks also to Kerry and Rebecca for their kind hospitality . Room was spotless and huge with lovely view over the gardens . Thanks again to everyone who made our stay special.

Then I had to search the corridors to find someone to get our bill.

We came last year for the 3 Day New Year Break. From the minute we arrived I just fell in love with the surroundings.
From start to finish it was absolutely first class.
The staff are a credit to the owners and we cannot wait to see everyone again this year.
Beautiful décor and surroundings plus the meals were amazing.

The first line of a review is always the most important so all I can say is Balbirnie House hosted our PERFECT wedding!

The team at Balbirnie House went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. Their attention to detail is highly impressive and everything was taken care of and certainly in safe hands.

We have never met a friendlier, more down to earth and approachable team.

We would personally like to thank Erdal, Christine and Kerry for all their hard work in making our day complete. Their commitment to Balbirnie House is outstanding and they are a credit to the hotel.

We can't recommend the Balbirnie House enough. Anyone who is in the process of picking a wedding venue should give this place serious consideration. You won't be disappointed!!
