It was our second stay in this outstanding hotel in Tokyo and if we liked it enough the first time, this second time has been for the books.

We ‘ve stayed at one of their exclusive suites and the decor and the space were beyond any expectations. The views over the city are unforgettable given that this room has a full corner view.

Their japanese restaurant has great tasting menus to fully discover the extent of the japanese gastronomy and a wide selection of western and japanese wines to match it.

The breakfast buffet is flawless: fruits couln’t be any sweeter, meats any tastier, bakeries any better. It’s a treat to one’s senses.

Whilst the service has always been exquisite, perhaps the improving point of the hotel should be expanding the service offerings when booking a suite. One would expect a butler service to accompany the space, to take full advantage of the dining settings and other amenities in place.

This was my husband’s second stay at this hotel and my first. We traveled with our family of four, sons aged 10 and 12, who hate to walk and are not used to Japanese food. To complicate matters, our younger son is allergic to tree nuts.
We arranged adjoining rooms which were pleasant, clean and quiet.
Girandole breakfast buffet was excellent in accommodating my son’s allergies.
He also had no problems at the Peak Lounge with the Ciabatta Chicken Sandwich. It is not often he can have bread with his allergies.
He had a mild reaction to Soba noodles at Kozue but no problems with the rice and specially arranged cold tofu at that restaurant.
The walk is 0.7 miles to Shinjuku Station, but ask the Valet for the shuttle schedule that picks up and drops off every 20 minutes near the Station.
Also, after traveling to other hotels in Kyoto and Osaka, it was great to finally find a foam roller in the Park Hyatt gym to roll out my stiff muscles!

Stayed in a Suite with 2 young children and an infant. The King Bed was large enough to fit all of us, but we also had a rollaway bed provided. Really appreciated the complimentary children sized pyjamas, slippers, bath products, nappy bin and toys. 15 mins walk to Shinjuku Station, where there are lots of options for breakfast: Sarabeths, Boulange, Dean'n'Deluca, Blue Bottle Coffee, Joel Robcuhon Cafe. The gym / swimming pool is an incredible space, use it at least once if you can. Concerige was very helpful and booked us some excellent fine dining meals, omakase sushi/sashami in Ginza at Iwa Hanare and Teppanyaki kobe beef at Ukai Tai in Ometsando. The bar was always buzzing in the evening, but we didnt have time for cocktails on this trip. Look forward to returning.

Amazing stay. Incredibly helpful and polite staff. Best pool I've ever used. Extremely tasty food. Even when I dropped a glass (was really sorry!), their clear first concern was for me and not the hassle I put them through (not like the trend in non-Japanese Michelin dining to pretend to care while trying not to actually help)
