Well looked after animals, shelters and very friendly staff.
Our kids loved the hands on experiences of feeding the calves, milking the goats etc.
They were thrilled.
Tip: try to go mid-week (off season even better). We heard reports of it being crazy busy on the weekend. We were there on a Monday in October and basically had the place to ourselves.
We had a group of 5 children of various ages and we spent a very pleasant afternoon at this farm. The kids rode ponies, fed goats and calves, and enjoyed petting the other animals. Great value for your $$$s
Had a great time at the horse training clinic with Severn, learned a lot of new techniques and was awestruck by the beautiful facilities... Much thanks to Jody and Severn... We'll definitely be back!!!😋
My son was first to raise the hand when the farmer girl ask who wants to try it first - kids get to milk the goat one by one! Waw, what a experience for city kids. They have a lot of animals you can pet. The farm was very clean; well, for a farm. There is a outdoor washroom and sink/soap so you can wash your hand. And offcours the pony ride is very popular with the little ones.
My mom, sister, nephews and I came to the farm for a day trip. We'd never been before but all of us will definitely be coming back in the near future! All of the staff were super friendly and helpful with the questions we had. I really enjoyed how hands on certain activities were for the kids (feeding baby goats and milking goats too). The trail rides are amazing for adults and the pony rides are a great idea for the kids. Would highly recommend this to family and friends who are looking for an easy way to spend a day!
I, Grandma took two Grandchildren, ages 12 & 10 for the trail rides. The horses were beautiful, quiet. & perfect for beginners. Becky was our guide & she was superb! She gave simple, but important instructions
to the children. We saw lovely scenery, rode through a small stream of water, saw a bunny, & just thoroughly enjoyed the entire trail ride. The kids said it was " awesome". The only complaint was it wasn't long enough.
Next time we will do a longer ride. We toured the farmyard & the children just lived the goats before our trail ride.
