The food was excellent and value for money. Opened at 7pm on a Wednesday. The scallop pasty starter was amazing.

What beats steak than camembert on steak?

A very good local seafood-oriented restaurant in the quiet (at least in June) harbour area of Grandcamp-Maisey. Fairly extensive menu featuring local seafood, plus several good non-seafood choices for those not so inclined. Small & cozy interior, but could fill up fast in the season.

Fast and friendly service. We took the menu of 16,5 eur. My wife had fish which had too much sauce. The fish was fresh.
Camenbert feuilles were nice. Deserves a 3,5.

Needed a place to eat after visiting Pointe du Hoc and decided to visit Grandcamp. Nice beach town that felt deserted for the early July. The Bistro was empty at 19:00. More people shuffled in during dinner.

The waiter was very attentive and pretty enthusiastic. The grand menu sea bass and mussels were wonderful. The deserts apples in Calvados and Calvados ice cream were excellent.

The kids menu is good and there are many kid friendly items.

The only downer were the flies. Other than that, Bravo.
