We stayed at this hotel for three nights. When we came, the room we got, was one with a carpet. I had forgotten to tell that my wife was allergic to carpets, but I didn´t think they used carpets any more in Norwegian hotels. The room we got also had a window towards the main street. Usually we like to sleep with an open window, and I don´t think that would be possible with this room. The hotel was quite crowded, but we asked in the reception if it was possible to get another room since we were going to stay for three nights. When we came back after a trip in Fauske they had managed to find a new room without a carpet and the window on the back of the hotel. This good service saved our stay in Fauske!
Nice and clean room/bathroom too.

Room Tip: I wouldn´t choose a room on the front of the hotel if you want an open window. Tell if you don´t want a carpet .

This hotel needs an update, there is no question about it but in a way 70s look and feel gives own atmosphere. At least the room we stayed was large and with a nice view to the sea. Staff friendly and professional

This is a nice hotel but it is getting old and need renovation, especially the rooms. But, the atmosphere is good and the staff is friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi is free, so is breakfast. They have a restaurant if you care for dinner at the hotel instaed of some of the places located nearby. You can walk into the town from the hotel, Everything is located close by. There is no fitness center at the hotel but they have an agreement with the local Stamina center that you can use for free. Ask for directions! You also get free parking as a guest, just ask for it during check-in.

The hotel's location was great - right on the Main Street of town! Public areas were lovely and the Tourist Information office was located in the lobby. There was a nice area for having drinks and a lovely restaurant. We had a nice dinner there and the breakfast was very good! The staff were friendly and helpful. Sleeping Rooms were very small with tiny bathrooms.

Dinner at this hotel was the only meal on holiday in Norway that I struggled to eat. Food was very poor and reminded me of a canteen. Even the drinks from the hot drinks machine were awful. Room was a bit old fashioned but adequate. Parking was across the road in the public car park.
