We stayed here for two nights to access the forest and sanctuary’s.
It is an absolutely beautiful location and the restaurant serves lovely food for lunch and dinner.
Rooms are nice and cool and in the middle of the jungle
My only slight criticism is the breakfast was not always hot and the bathroom needed slight updating but appreciated they have been closed because of covid for so long maybe funds were low…. The swimming pool also needed a refurb. But all in all a perfectly tranquil stay

We spent 6 glourious days here my daughter and myself. Staff were so friendly helpful and couldn’t do more for us. 10 out of 10 for the chef his meals were amazing. The outings that they arranged for us including the boat ride down the river was absolutely incredible. I’ll guide Eric what is one of the most informative, interesting and helpful guide I have yet to come across in my travels. The room was comfortable clean and very well maintained. All in all this was a fantastic holiday. We were looking for a holiday of a lifetime and that’s exactly what we got.

This is a perfect forest retreat for those who want to be close to the Orangutan and Sun Bear sanctuaries as they are only 10-15 minutes walk from the resort.
It’s a series of rustic chalets set on the edge of the rain forest. We had the 3 deluxe chalets for the 6 of us. They’re in various places around the site but not too close together so you have lots of privacy.
The food at The Nest restaurant on site is absolutely superb and seems to be a real ménage of east meets west cuisine, all at very reasonable prices.
As per other reviews this is no super-swanky hotel and the “pool” is a very small splash pool. None of that matters as you’re here to see the amazing wildlife which is very close by.
Check the feeding times for the Orangutans as that’s the best time to visit (we were there for the 3pm feeding and it was superb). Same for Sun Bears and they were out and about at 10am before feeding at 11.
We went on the night tour of the Rainforest Discovery Centre and that was also excellent. Keep your eyes peeled for giant flying squirrels, macaques, mouse dear, bats and more.
