A choice of European or Malaysian food. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere with a great view overlooking a lake. Easy walking distance to the animal sanctuaries at Sepilok.

Very good service and nice food. Mix of malaysian and western options sometimes in the same dish which was a bit weird but might be useful if your kids are are bit fussy. I had the red curry with beef, it came with rice, small corn chips and a nice salad/coleslaw on the side. As the name suggests set on a small pond/lake. Very close to orang-utans and sun bears, very short walk.

We were staying in the area where choices are somewhat limited but we'd found good reviews for the lake on TA. The setting is lovely with a large open air dining area overlooking the lake.
The choice of food was good with different dishes for different palates. Our whole group enjoyed their meals and the service was friendly and efficient.

Friendly and helpful staff who speak excellent English. Good food at a reasonable price, and a great setting next to a lake surrounded by jungle.

The quality of food is mediocre. For example, the croissants served at the breakfast were totally uncooked and uneatable!
The supply is not well managed, some items were not available for three consecutive days.
Some waitresses were irritating.
The location is wonderful. What a shame!
