We visited here on our way out to a River Kinabatangan river cruise. The tour company had stopped at the Mango Garden (opposite) which was only serving an expensive buffet option. We crossed the road to this restaurant, where we were served large potions of cheap local food. The staff were friendly. The toilets were very basic. I am glad we went here.

My boyfriend and I had been walking for what seemed like miles so needless to say we were very tired and hot and desperately needed some food.
I had chicken noodles and my boyfriend opted for the chicken curry. Both were very delicious! We were also recommended by the very helpful waitress that we should have the roti canai, we were unsure what this was but agreed to try it. It was delicious! The whole meal was very good value for money.
The service was a bit slow but we didn't mind as we were enjoying the rest.

If you want good quality cheap eats this is the place. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here and went back twice. It also has a really good WiFi connection for travellers wanting to connect with the outside world for a bit. Recommended.

Cute bistro with shower eaves around and fans for cooling. Friendly, efficient service. Good choice of food. We chose to sit outside. The spaghetti prawns, the mushroom soup and the watermelon fruit juice were delicious and budget priced. Other family members enjoyed their food,too.
