We stayed in double room appartment with great sea view, very close to the beach. Hotel is very clean, staff is friendly. Restaurant for breakfast and the terrace day+evening restaurant are both old fashioned. Quality of breakfast was good. Eating during the day in the hotel was under our expectations. The restaurant was very slow, we had to wait long for everything including order, meals, even a bill. They served only very few meals during the day (pizza, pasta, salad). The parking was not spacious enough when the hotel was full. When our light in bathroom broke, they repaired it in 5 minutes, super quick. Air conditioning was fine, but we had to pay 50 EUR deposit for a remote control driver. We came for diving course and it was fabulous. Great diving instructors, ready to help with everything. You can borrow everything there. Big variety of diving from beginners to advanced. Possible to dive from the shore, from a boat, night diving... This was really an outstanding experience.

Room Tip: ask for sea view

Stayed in one of the apartments which were extremely well priced and great value for money. Apartment had 2 rooms (2 single beds and 1 double bed), lounge room, kitchen, bathroom and balcony.

The place looked neat and tidy and well presented over all. Wifi worked well/fast and came in handy.

Very close to the beach (with a little island) as well as snorkel, boat, jet ski, scuba, scooter, kayak etc. hire. Prices at reasonable prices.

Breakfast was include in the price which was great because there are no grocery stores close by apart from the tiny grocery store in the resort (which has just the essential supplies). Closest store was approx. 20-30mins walk one way which was a little bigger and had a little more variety to chose from. Besides that, main grocery stores are in Blato or Korcula cities. Only accessible via taxi (or rented scooter, bicycle or by car if you drove to the island) as no public transport on the island during peak season.

Front desk staff was friendly and helpful especially one male staff member who was extremely friendly and went more than out of his way to help us with everything. Especially booking a coach bus and ferry tickets on line - our bank cards were not accepted and he ended up using his card and we payed him in cash.

Over all great island, relaxing and peaceful and recommend for quiet get aways from the busy and over crowded tourist places.

The only negative thing that stood out about the island was the lack of public transport during tourist season (non tourist season public transport resumes) so that we could get around the island cities. We paid 160 Kuna (AUD $33) to go from Prizba to Blato (approx 11kms from our apartment).

There are only a hand full of taxis on the island and although they use a meter, on the day of our departure the taxi driver set a fee almost double of its usual rate because we were leaving at 5:20am. We were charged 250 Kuna (AUD $52) for a 8km ride to Smokvica.

If you plan to move around the Island, best way is to know a local with a car or hire a scooter or bicycle at a fraction of the cost.

Nice place for vacation with diving center. It is opened from June till the end of October only. For divers even in May and October. It is family friendly oriented vacation place where divers can dive while family is swimming in crystal clear water.

Do not expect a luxury place! Nicely located hotel with mid level furniture, amenities. Food is acceptable, staff very kind! (maybe except the hotel manager.... I was pleased with his "good morning" only once during a week, despite the fact that we return there for the fourth year. Unfortunately this year the hotel is crowded (probably all Croatia), children are noisy in the evenings, sometimes drunk adults as well.
As diving is not a hobby for us, not too much to do... Internet is a real issue in rooms or public places.

Room Tip: All rooms are noisy
