“A relaxed and remote rustic getaway, perfect for unwinding.”

An incredible place to unwind with a book and a glass of wine by the pool. Walking and other activities such as horseriding, canoeing etc are nearby. If you're after touristy attractions and nightlife this isn't necessarily the place for you, but it's an easy day trip to some beautiful towns if you can tear yourself away from the peace and quiet of the countryside. Owners live nearby and are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They arranged some local caterers for us who cooked an an absolutely amazing supper - thoroughly recommend this option as an alternative to eating out.

“Perfect vacation from start to finish.”
Reviewed 26 September 2013 for a stay in July 2013

We came as a large 20 person family group and our stay was amazing. The hosts made us feel welcome and were there to make sure we were taken care of. The cooks were amazing as well as the food! My two children loved going to get fresh eggs from the hutch every day and the pool was a big hit. My husband went running in the hills and up to the nearby towns and it was a stunning vista. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. Perfect for any age!

“Family Holiday‏”
Reviewed 27 August 2013 for a stay in July 2013

As an extended family group of 20 (ranging in ages from 6 to 70+) staying at El Molino for a reunion, we were delighted to arrive and find that it was exactly as presented – a truly wonderful, magical home that can accommodate a large group with ease and comfort. We made full use of all the facilities in the main house and the casita. The two kitchens were well equipped. Outside there are a number of covered patios with comfortable seating and a wonderful outdoor dining area that can accommodate 20. There are also numerous activities to enjoy and to tempt even the most reluctant participants: the refreshing swimming pool, the bumpy tennis court, Boule/Pétanque, and hiking. Collecting fresh eggs, playing with the cats, and exploring the gardens proved to be a favourite with the younger members of the group.

Nick and Amanda, the owners, were wonderful hosts, ensuring that we had the best time possible with the minimum of bother. As a large group we also took advantage of the option to hire local cooks to shop and prepare the family dinner most nights. Nieves and Isabella made wonderful feasts: paella, calamari, solomillo de cerdo, fresh salads, which we enjoyed sitting outside by the pool in the cool of the evening.

In summary El Molino is a beautiful property, decorated with simple taste and style, where you can enjoy your time as a large group without feeling overcrowded, and also appreciate the more private spaces where you can sit, read a book and truly relax.

“Relaxing Vacation Spot”
Reviewed 2 August 2013 for a stay in July 2013

We had a wonderful time staying here. The house is amazing and has everything you will need to relax with a large group of people. Lots of patios and sitting areas where you can join in conversations or sit quietly with a book. It was July so the weather was warm (okay, hot), but the rooms cooled off at night so it was never uncomfortable. The owners are kind people and very helpful. We highly recommend bringing in the local cooks to make meals. The food is outstanding (and a good price). The house is well maintained and the pool is beautiful. There isn't much around for sightseeing that doesn't require a pretty substantial drive. But if you want to relax with a group of people this is the perfect place!
