O'Garage is open seven nights were most restaurants in Orthez are closed Sunday and Monday. The food is very European with all the usual steaks and fish on the menu. The staff are efficient, friendly and good looking! The food is to be recommended and enjoyed. Drink local wine, it's gorgeous.

Called in as one of the few places open for food on a Monday night. Excellent service and the steaks we had were cooked to perfection.

This is a new addition to the restaurant scene in Orthez. The "couteaux" as a starter are great, and our group tried the burger, the tartare and steak and everything was fab. Got a great wine at a reasonable price as well (Montus).

This a great establishment that has recently opened. You can have breakfast, lunch or dinner there or just a simple coffee. The decor is great and the staff are very friendly and pleasant. For the more sporty clientele you can book a football or squash session in one of the courts situated at the back of the restaurant. Well done to the owners for transforming an old garage into a great place to relax!

Went there just to listen to a local live group and decided to book a table before going . Having spoken to a member of staff I just knew it would be great . It is a new bar/ restaurant and has a " classy" feel about it , with the bar downstairs and the restaurant upstairs ( plus a squash court in the basement !!! ). Very clean and smart , but staffed by very welcoming people . This continued as we were lead upstairs to the restaurant and handed over to the waiting staff . Everything just got better , very smart restaurant , but again great , friendly staff . The menu was small , but diverse and the food was amazing . The gazpacho (€8 )was probably the best I have ever had and brought back memories of over 45 years ago when I first enjoyed it in Marbella . The cote de Beouf ( €40 for 2 )was cooked to perfection and the Gascogne red was fantastic and not expensive (€14 ) . The cafe gourmand ( €6 ) was a delight , with several little tasters , plus great coffee , which is all I had room for . The staff were soo attentive , yet did not " hover ". Returned to the bar to enjoy the live music and the same level of helpfulness was enjoyed from the bar staff . They also do a set menu at lunchtime for €14 which I have yet to try , but will soon . Well worth a visit and quite different from any other restaurant I have enjoyed in the area.
