Stayed 1 night
Handed breakfast voucher on check in see photo.
Next morning, no breakfast, somebody is not doing their job!
Apart from this the hotel is fine if a little awkward to access by public transport!

Stayed: July 2017, travelled solo

The Robin 2 Hotel makes a convenient accommodation for everyone coming for a concert. It is a solid rock club as well with top bands, authentic atmosphere, nice variety of great beers, tasty burgers & pizza. The upstairs hotel is nice and absolutely worth for this price. The staff is kind and polite. The breakfast is a real treat and they even have the traditional English breakfast with vegetarian sausages for those in favour of a nourishment of the more harmless source.

This is not a traditional bed-and-breakfast. It's a few rooms on the side of an incredibly loud music venue. Amazingly, the sound doesn't travel through to the bedrooms. If you want a quiet drink this isn't the place for you but if you want live band music then it is.

Very basic facilities - clean, a bed and Wi-Fi.

Advertised as bed & breakfast but there was no breakfast available.

Nice Indian restaurant two minutes walk down the street.

Stayed at The Robin 2 last week as I went to see The Skids in the venue next door. I was literally out of the bedroom and straight in to the venue! If you're going to see any bands at the venue then this hotel is perfect. Didn't take up the breakfast option as I had to be up and out very early to drive back to Wales. Next time I go to see a band there I shall be booking this hotel every time! Hotel itself is cheap and cheerful with a little bar serving a good selection of drinks. Ample free parking too and not far from the motorway.

If you are off to a gig at the Robin 2 then this will give you what you need. Clean, basic and has tea/coffee making facilities in the room and is the venue is literally in he same building. Free parking is behind the hotel as well. Their chief was not available when we stayed but normally you can get a good breakfast as well. I would not know why anyone would stay if you was not at the gig .but I would not stay anywhere else if I was.
