Rooms were OK, also the food (no-one of our group got ill anyway), but...

there are various types of staff, to say:

- nice people, like the room cleaner (good job, Raffat), and the animation team;
- completely indifferent people, like the staff on the reception, most staff of the restaurant, and
- really annoying people, like the persons bringing your suitcases to your room, treating you like you were beating them all the way down and demanding for a tip,the people in the bar, and
- the special category, one of the massage team. He was so keen to give me a massage that at the end it would be for free...... ??

We paid for a late check out, 1800. but at 1600 we were not served any drinks anymore, although we still had our bracelet. After we started to comment on this, we were asked to go to the lobby, they did not like any comments from our side.

We were in the lodge a few days (group of 14, I believe about 25% of all the guests). After one week, we returned for again a few days. Again all new administrative procedures, the same explanations, as we never were in the lodge before. Totally not interested in the guests...........

The fact that beer was not available a few times, wine appears to be diluted with water, makes me wonder about the situation of the lodge. Also it was not allowed to refill our little water bottles from the dispensers, and that while it was 29-33 degrees C.

It crossed my mind that the most part of the staff is of the opinion that the worst thing that can happen is that people come visit the lodge to enjoy their vacation. That should not be the starting point I would say. Still, they work closely with emperor divers, situated in the resort; this diving centre really has another state of mind regarding client treating, the staff of the resort might be able to learn from them.

Beautiful desert location. Airport nearby. Security in this sort of Egypt very good. This hotel is at Emporor Divers Mooring. Very good for that. Rooms a little dated. Food pretty poor though breakfast is passable if you like eggs- I could get those made to order. Dinner inedible. Even though we had all inclusive we went across the harbor. If you drink it’s as if they’re rationing it. Staff is multilingual. Not fluent in any language but Arabic. As I heard someone say this is a four-Egyptian star hotel. 2 to three elsewhere. Lovely place!

I stayed here because of its proximity to Emperor Divers, but I will not stay here again. The food quality was poor in their main restaurant. Shop-keepers on property constantly heckled me about buying something...to the point that I would purposely take a different route back to my room. Totally annoying to experience this ON PROPERTY.

Rooms are basic, but comfortable. Beware the blaring music of evening entertainment. It's great if you want to participate, but you cannot escape the noise if you want to.

Rafaat from housekeeping did make the best towel animals.

Hotel is really good. All is just nice food was so tasty. Beach like a paradise. Rooms big and always clean all the people who is working there really friendly and helpful. Animation cast ready perfect people and always doing great Jil day and night. The hotel is really your pace when you wanna spend an amazing holiday. Thanks everyone in this family hotel

We have spend the most great vacation ever in your hotel we cab rate it even as 5star every thing is more than good ..food .and service.amazing beach close to the hotel .best animation team we have ever meet .nice and friendly staff.. all was just perfect.we gonna spend our next holiday in Marina lodge again
