We needed to find a place to stay for a couple of nights before our friends' guest room became available, and De Palma Ampang was the closest to their house in Ukay Heights. We booked the largest room (suite) at a very reasonable rate, and we appreciate that for 125 ringitt extra we could check in at 7:30am straight from our red-eye flight. The room was spacious and reasonably clean but quite basic. This is not a luxury hotel! Still, we would have a liked a shower that didn't flood the bathroom and faucets that weren't wobbly. The hallway has 24-hour music playing, not at all quiet as you walk to the elevator but didn't bother us in our room. The poor is quite large and looked good, but we didn't feel comfortable using it since my wife didn't have a full-body, conservative suit as we saw other women wearing when we looked down from our room window. At 25 ringitt the breakfast buffet was reasonable but fairly mediocre. We also appreciated Ampang Point shopping centre right across the street -- Starbucks, food, supermarket, and I even had a pair of pants altered for 8 ringitt.

Im having great experienced staying here. The service was excellent and im really thankful to Miss Fazlina. I requested queen bed instead of 2 single bed i get. She assisted and entertained my request! This hotel is really shariah compliance. I feel the calmness seeing Quran, yassin, hadith and in the room and everywhere at the hotel.
