Description: Built by the sea, the tavern ' Anatolikos' waiting to welcome its visitors. With respect to the old local recipes, with pure raw materials, rich flavors and fragrance in food, the visitor enjoys moments full of magic and local color. The view of the beach and the sea air in conjunction with good local wine and taste genuine food come alive and lay unconscious emotions. The tavern 'Anatolikos' was founded in 1993 and has established itself as one of the best Greek tavernas on the island, offering excellent quality authentic Greek food in combination with affordable prices and friendly service. Our Tavern is open from early morning until late at night, offering breakfast, lunch, dinner and a great variety of drinks and local zakynthina wines. You can find us next to the square of Alykes. We have ample private parking for our guests and site for paichnidigia our little friends. The restaurant staff always friendly and helpful staff will make you feel at home and enjoy your food as you wish. Greek Traditional Tavern 'Anatolikos' Welcome to set up!

We ate here for the convenience of the beach having previously bought drinks. The location is lovely but that's it. We weren't expecting miracles as it's a beach snack bar/cafe. I ordered a cheese and ham toastie. It came with virtually no filling. My partner ordered a jacket potato with tuna mayonnaise. The filling was all mayonnaise with virtually no tuna. It was that bad he wouldn't eat it. Just sloppy. These are not difficult snacks to make. The price was not the cheapest either but this wouldn't have mattered if the food was okay. We ended up leaving the food. The waitress was not a bit interested either. We ended up walking up to the Pitta Break and getting gyros for €2-50 each which were stunning.

We eat here often and our friends often refer to eat as the 'Shirley valentine' restaurant because it is right on the sea and the restaurant tables are very simple and greek. The service is friendly and the food has always been good in our experience. The portions are enormous. My husband loves the hand cut fried potatoes and the smoked pork steak is like something Fred Flintstone would tackle. Definitely worth a visit
