No entrance fee unlike some other places, pay for what you pick $4/kg - a little more than what you pay in the shops but I suppose you are paying for the experience and fruit straight from the tree. TIP 1: Bring a foldable shopping trolley with wheels, the ones that grannies use. It'll save you lugging 5 kgs of apples all over the hills. TIP 2. Bring your own recyclable bag, the ones coles and woolworths sells. You will need to weigh your apples in these otherwise you will have to buy one there for $2. TIP 3. Do not stop to pick the apples straight away. Walk furthest away past the peaches to the very end of the property. Everyone stops at the first rows of apples and only small, unripe apples are left here. (I made that mistake) The big ripe ones are further away. Exception: the Granny Smiths are ok- for some reason no one wants them. Farm also sells bush honey, chestnuts, apple juice.

If you love fruit picking and apples definitely go here, there are heaps of varieties to choose from. They’re super sweet and it’s free to enter, you just have to pay for what you pick which is an awesome deal. These guys also have honey and juice to buy if want. It was a great day out, great for the kids if you have any

Charming orchard that makes you feel like you’re far away from the main road (even though it’s just right next to it). Very friendly and stunning apples. Will definitely return.

On arrival, we were given a detailed explanation of what’s in season, how to spot the ones ready for picking. We were even encouraged to taste the fruits before we pick them and eat the ripe ones that are too soft to keep for the journey! Wow! The peaches and plums were plentiful and oh so sweet! It’s not the biggest or the cheapest orchard in the area but I’d go back there again and again.

Lovely place for a short escape from Sydney's crowd.

We only drove around an hour from Parramatta CBD and the route is spectacular with generous sight views.

We picked up around half a kilo of apples placed in their recyclable bags which made a great gift for a friend.

I highly recommend this place and defiantly worth to add in your weekend list.
