This trip can be a 2 hour or longer tour. We drove ourselves to the boat access past the Four Seasons on Tanjung Rhu beach. This allows for a longer boat ride which we wanted. The boat should only cost approximately 180-200 MYR. This is for the entire boat, no matter how many people. On a two hour tour you visit the mangroves, see the eagles and watch them be fed, visit the Bat Cave and possibly motor through Crocodile cave. Go at low tide so you can see as much as possible. Hopefully you will have a knowledgeable guide who will point out the flora and fauna that is abundant in the mangroves and in the area. Enjoy!!

This is a mystical and magical place that dates back nearly 500 million years! Best seen with a professional guide and tour group such as Dev's Adventures. A visit to the wonders of The Kilim Karst Global Geopark should be on the agenda of every visitor to Langkawi. Awesome!

It's actually a well prepared path for tourist along the coast but in the rainforest. You meet monkeys along the way, different plants. You can do it on your own or with a guide. the walks range from 40min to 1,5h. Take a lot of water as you'll get worn out along the way. It's a safe mini adventure.

In town they sell mangrove tour tickets so I didn't know they were the same thing. We tried just going on our own but not the location on TripAdvisor map is confusing. Go instead to the fancy hotel resort along the beach and hire a boat. If you're 2 or more it's about the same cost to hire a private boat than to wait for the tour from town.

Mangrove tour by boat to see fishing eagles, swimming monkeys, mudskippers, fiddler crabs, bats in a cave and mangrove pit viper. A must for anyone who wants to see the local wildlife and learn about the importance of mangroves to an ecosystem!
