“Wild Nature.. Strange and Exotic Wonders!”
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

You can book a tour from the many agencies on the main road according to your interests and budget. We were picked up from the Resort in a small van. A short trip took us to a beach from where we were divided into 2 boats. Our guide was excellent and shared his experience in this amazing area. His knowledge about the wildlife here was immense, and we could feel his passion for the place.
We stopped at a fish farm . Were allowed to touch many of these exotic creatures. There were toilets here.
As we had to come back here for lunch, we could select and pay for the crab we wanted and it would be cooked by the time we came back .
Then ,it was the swimming monkeys and their antics, The soaring majestic eagles and an exciting ride thru the dense mangrove swamps. We spotted monitor lizards and different species of crabs that looked exotic and beautiful. Am not going to elaborate on what they did, leaving it as a surprise for you to discover. Many were the strange and wonderful things revealed. The bat cave was interesting. Be careful. it is a bit of a climb, but don't miss it. The guide gives a small interesting lecture about the bats and leads us into the cave. The stalagmites and stalactites are lovely. Outside the cave is an astounding oddly bent rock that grows towards the sun because of the algae!
Lunch at the fish farm was delicious and filling with a jug of cold juice. And of course our crab.. the ordinary variety!
The trip to the Geopark is worth the money spent, whatever you choose to do. A Learning Experience not to be missed.

“Amazingly beautiful ”
Reviewed 2 weeks ago via mobile

Visiting this geopark was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Langkawi island. We had a three hour trip by the boat to the inside of the green and beautiful jubgles in the middle of the ocean. The view was amazing, we fed the monkeys and eagles, theree was also a bat cave with spectacular natural life and at the end we had lunch in a restaurant on the water. Great, romantic, untouched and a must see place.

“Interesting but wished it was cleaner”
Reviewed 2 weeks ago via mobile

So many things to see and learn, got to see interesting species of fauna and flora, that are unique only to Langkawi. I wished that the place was cleaner, there was a mound of rubbish.

“Breathtaking Views”
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We booked a private boat which I recommend is to get the deal directly from the boat owner instead of the agents as it is the same journey after all and you can get a good price doing this.
For minutes you start to feel that you are in the scenery of some movies when you look around to see these amazing mountains standing in the middle of the sea with a beautiful greenery just try to listen to the sound of the waves dancing with the trees it is a place that you will remember for a very long time and every time you see your photos there you will keep getting the same feeling Simply Magical place
