-We weren't even greeted when we arrived... "Scan here" was all we were told, before carrying our luggage to check in ourselves.
-We then had to leave our room and take the luggage to the room ourselves, despite calling reception several times to request it.
-We asked for a room with two bedrooms, but were given a room with one master bedroom, which was decent, if not a little dirty. The second bedroom was just a sofa bed in the living room, which was really uncomfortable.

-The place seems to have had a lick of paint since some of the older comments on here.
-An amazing view (as with most places by the ocean in Langkawi)
-A fantastic pool.
-A great balcony overlooking the sea.
-The place looks great on photos.
-No kids club- as advertised. No baby sitting services as advertised. When we enquired we were just told 'no'. (I later saw signs that said the kids club was shut to stop the spread of covid; however, the gym was open).
-Staff quite unhelpful, borderline ignorant, they didn't even say hello, as you passed then in the hotel.
-Breakfast was terrible. No freshly cooked items whatsoever, not even a roti or fresh egg station. Powdered eggs, stale bread and dreadfully bitter coffee were the norm. We didn't bother with breakfast for ourselves after day one, however, our kids managed to eat something.
-We waited almost 50 minutes for food ordered at the poolside bar... We didn't bother again afterwards.
-The rooms weren't cleaned very often
-The walls are very thin and it was difficult to get a good night's sleep, when you can hear every little nose from the corridor.
-Very little to do in local area, probably due to the impact of covid; however, I feel the hotel could do more to ensure that the time spent at the hotel was as enjoyable as possible.

-With better staff training, customer care and more to do within the complex, this place could be amazing.

-Will not return or recommend to others

-Checked out a few days earlier due to the above negative comments, as we simply couldn't sleep... "Nice view though".

Location: Located in Kuah Town, 15-20mins from airport and Chenang Beach. We rented a car to travel around. Plenty of restaurants and convenient stores within walking distance.

Room: Fantastic seaview room! Room is spacious with balcony facing the pool and sea. Comfy bed however they combined 2 twin beds instead of 1 king, strange thing is 2 single size duvet were combined on this king bed as well.

Facilities: Free wifi and carpark. We had a great swim in the pool overlooking the sea during sunset. It was peaceful and calm.

Food: Good spread of buffet style breakfast.

Services: Fast check in and out. Friendly front desk.

Overall: Great stay at this property!

The waiting staff and general workers at the hotel are good and courteous.

Our flight on the 28th got delayed (instead of 2.00pm departure it got delayed 9.00pm) we asked for a late check out till 5pm).

The front of house staff refused and said their hotel policy is checkout at 12.00pm and offered till 1.00pm.

And finally asked for late checkout till 3.00 pm and they wanted to charge us RM 50 an hour for each room, which we found it to be ridiculous.

We checked out at 12.00pm and booked into another hotel from 1.00pm to 6.00pm.

We stayed for 2 nights at Dayang Bay Resort, we check in late afternoon, and a simple courtesy during these challenging times is the least they could have been kind in extending to their guests.

However the food for breakfast was good and the welcome dinner offered to us was also good.
