I think, this place is among the better place to stay if u r looking for an average priced place that is fun and happening part of Langkawi. Its not a resort, its a hotel, the parking is at the back of a mall, in front of the hotel.

The room is avarage size. The amenities in the room is standard except they can already change their bath towel.

No breakfast but there are many available food options around the hotel.

Cenang Plaza Beach Hotel is a value-for-money (virtually) beach-front hotel which is located in arguably the best spot roughly in the middle along the 1.8km-long Cenang Beach stretch. The hotel is also a convenient 15min by car from Langkawi International Airport.

The hotel is clean and staffed with friendly and helpful staff, in particular those manning the front desks and therefore engaged in the all-important check-in/out process.

Hotel guests can walk out from the hotel and be immediately immersed in the hustle and bustle of Cenang Beach as well as the many shops along Pantai Cenang Road. Eateries range from simple roadside stalls to food trucks and more established restaurants serving a wide range of local, Asian, Western and Middle-Eastern fares.

There are also restaurants (eg. Bamboo Cenang restaurant situated behind the hotel) located on the sand at Cenang Beach for those who want to enjoy a view of the expansive, beautiful and lively beach during their meals (specifically as the sun sets - note that Cenang Beach faces the west and affords an unobstructed view of the setting sun).

Main attractions such as duty-free shopping at the Zon Duty-Free shopping centre which adjoins the Underwater World Langkawi aquarium are only 300m away from the hotel.

Hotel guests can park their vehicle at an open air public car park behind the hotel (note that parking can be difficult to find especially in the evening onwards) or in the hotel’s private open air car park located across Pantai Cenang Road behind Cenang Mall.

All-in-all, this mid-class hotel is thoroughly recommended for those wishing to enjoy the many commercial and retail sights and sounds of Langkawi as well as the wonderful Cenang Beach while partaking in some duty-free shopping along the way.
