What a lovely spot! Rooms are a good size and very clean and comfortable. Each even has its own hammock outside. Yoga with Kelly was just what I needed after a long day in the car. Mama Mia restaurant on site offers a limited but delicious menu. Breakfast was great. An easy walk to one of the nicest beaches in Costa Rica. Can't wait to get back!

My two grown daughters and I stayed in Room #6 which is a 2 bedroom with 5 beds. It was simple, clean and comfortable. A/C worked well and kept us comfortable.
The view from the dining terrace is unbeatable and the fruit and hot breakfast each morning is included, yummy and much appreciated. There is also an additional dinner service offered most nights in case you don't want to go out. The homemade pasta and empanadas were very good! Our room had a small patio, but we chose to sit on the terrace since it had an awesome view and was much larger. There are also shaded hammocks for relaxing. The hotel has bikes and hammocks that you could take to the beach. There was also a common refrigerator to use to keep a few things cold. Lautaro, the owner, runs a great place and his staff provides great service and information. There is horseback riding, a scarlet macaw sanctuary, plenty of beaches, a turtle hatchery, and more within 30 minutes or less. Most activities are very close by.

Room Tip: rooms on the same side as the terrace will have the best view. Room #6 sleeps the most people.

We really enjoyed our stay at the posada. The room was comfy with large bed, A/C and private bathroom. We paid a bit extra to get a private terrace with a hammock and rocking chair....which has an amazing view on the bay. And took many pictures from our terrace ! The view is spectacular, especially in the morning when sipping coffee :-)

The breakfast was quite generous with tea/coffee, juice, fruit (banana, pineapple and watermelon). Then you have to chose between pancakes with mapple syrup or scrambled eggs with toasts.

We saw many ctenosaurs, lezards, hummingbirds...etc around the property. We also heard a group of howler monkeys.

We ended up staying three nights.

Room Tip: Pick the room with the sea view

The Food was delicious, the people very nice and helpful.
The beach is a short walk and just beautiful- picturesque.
So was our Cabina with sea view.
While having breakfast the hummingbirds fly around. Iguanas on the roof and a racoon in the garden... Littlw paradis.
Hope to come back one day

+ Nice sea view with hammocks but
- The sea view room was quite stuffy / AC very weak
- Bathroom door covered by mold
- Shower was not working properly
- For 70 USD per night, not good value for money.
Hence I cannot recommend this place.
