5 minutes drive from Limoges airport brings you to this small and unusual hotel. Aude, the lady we spoke to frequently during our stay was lovely and very helpful.
We stayed in the villa, which I'd booked in advance on a well-known hotel aggregator. Good value as the villa is on two floors and have two bedrooms. My wife used the smaller bedroom downstairs as her dressing room and she loved it.
There was a dinner with lots of local doctors on the night we visited and after asking many times, we ate dinner outside. We had to have the set dinner because of the group booking but this was a good thing in our view. The staff were concerned about it raining and so we were seated in a small gazebo overlooking the lawn. This was actually a really nice touch and dinner was great. The wine list was good value and it didn't rain!
Breakfast was limited but I mean that in a good way - everything was delicious and just right. Very good bread, juice, cheese, coffee, pastries etc.
When Aude wasn't around, then service was sometimes a bit random but we were very relaxed about it. It was nice to stay at a small, independent country hotel in France. If you were driving down South or visiting the area, this would be a great place to stay.
Pretty cool little place.More
