We have stayed here for several years on our slow meander to/from the South West of France. Beautiful view from the room and excellent cuisine. We will be visiting again on our way back to the UK at the end of July and will book again next year. Two years ago we had lotte (monk fish) to die for - better than lobster!

Lovely setting and very peaceful
Expensive and Breakfast definitely overpriced.
Beautiful decor throughout
unfortunately the pool was not open and we had a bit of a walk from the car park with bags the a long trek to the top of a spiral staircase with bags.Good for exploring nearby Oradour sur Glane

I stayed at this hotel for one night last week & found that the lady owner anchored everything superbly. Whatever one needed was anticipated and if not, she made sure as moved through the hotel that one knew she was there to help.

Very formal fine French food for dinner all very professional and smart in every way.

Second time we stayed in this hotel and we love it. As soon as you get in you are relaxed, is very quiet, landscape is beautiful and is great for kids to play in the garden and walk around the the massive outdoor space. The food is excellent and all the service is very friendly and helpful. Special mention about Aude that was in contact from the time of the booking, during the stay and on departure to make sure our stay was very pleasant and was very helpful at all times. Thank you so much for running such a lovely hotel. Will be back again soon

Room Tip: "Deluxe Gallery suite or bedrooms are my preference because they have straight access to the beatiful gardens"

We selected this property because of its proximity to Limoges, famous for its porcelain, and it turned out to be a delight on its own. Like other reviewers, we ended up in a large room with an outdoor terrace, with a splendid view down the expansive lawns to the lakes. The extensive walks through the property's woods whetted our appetites for the finely-crafted dinner and well-chosen wine list.
Like most boutique hotels in France, it had its own eccentricities - the room was tastefully simple rather than luxurious and we had to ask for a laundry bag - but the service was friendly and Jorge, the young German Shepherd, popped around to our terrace when he thought we might be good for a pat.

Room Tip: Ask for a terrace room.
