Went here at the weekend and have to say it was absolutely great.
The children had great fun baking their own bread, climbing to the top of the windmill and stroking plenty of different animals.
The cafe has everything home baked and is also superb!

Great place to go. We bought a season ticket and went often. Kids love to see the animals, go up the windmill and bake their own bread. Fantastic bakery and tea rooms and we will return again this summer. Some days we only stayed half hour other days maybe 3 hours. Best if it’s s nice clear sunny day as the views are great from the top of the windmill.

Located in rural Norfolk, Great Bircham Mill is an ideal lunch or afternoon tea destination. A working Mill with a tearoom and cafe offering tasty bites. Also has a few small farm animals to meet in a courtyard enclosure. Hunstanton and Heacham beaches located nearby.

We had our daughter and her family staying and so we decide to have a day trip to see them. This is a relatively basic set up with a camp site and play area but the food and bakery on site were worth the visit. The café offers a decent choice and the bakery has enough choice and calories to suit all of us who enjoy such food. There are tables inside and out and the peaceful setting , with windmill, make the whole experience very English.

If you visit this delightful windmill buy some of the bread that is baked in the mill. It tastes like real bread, and it very much worth trying. As to the mill, it is a true delight and a real piece of days gone by ...Take time to visit here as it is a really pleasant place.
