“spacious accommodation and grounds - ideal”
Reviewed 31 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

We can only confirm what other guests have said about this accommodation. The photos don't do it justice. The grounds were ideal for our children and dogs to run around in. My daughter loved the tree swing. The cottage itself was spacious, clean and well equipped. We were lucky to have good weather and spent every day on the beaches (Golspie and Brora) we could never find the way to the beach opposite the cottage, but it didn't matter the views were spectacular. Would definitely like to visit again. Thank you Alistair

Reviewed 17 October 2016 for a stay in June 2016

This cottage is ideally situation for travel all over the far north of Scotland,we had a great day out on the Orkneys, from J.o.Groats,we had a day playing golf at Durness[if you golf its a must play, wonderful]the cottage is very well equipped it even has its own fawn which strolls across the lawn at approx 6am in midsummer !,but seriously, we have stayed all over Scotland in cottages for the past 15/16 yrs and this is up there with the best, owners are good to deal with as well, also recommend Golspie Golf Club,v nice, food in the Sutherland Arms in Brora v good too

“Relaxing with excellent view”

The cottage is just off the main road but is miles away from busy city life. A lovely view out to the Moray Firth.

Fantastic house; much nicer than the pictures, with a spectacular view. We had a wonderful weekend and would love to have stayed longer. Weather was wonderful and we had a lovely day walking from Golspie to Dunrobin castle and at the lovely beach near the house. The dog adored the area and even our three teenagers had a great time despite a lack of wi-fi (good phone reception helped!). The Co-op in nearby Brora is excellent for provisions and we had a pleasant visit to Thurso which has a few interesting shops. Delicious fish & chips from Helmsdale. Hope to return.
