Had a fab time again at pitchperfect with 2 other families and our kids. They have fab and very clean facilities, and a good little shop and the owners couldn’t be nicer, nothing was too much trouble!. The site also feels very safe for little ones to run about. Will definitely. Be back when it reopens next season.

This was our last visit for the season, we have been here three times this year and love it.
James and Emma are great hosts, friendly, approachable and do everything to make sure your ok.
The kids love it here, they go off around the site and we only see them when there hungry, they are totally safe as it’s off any road and the play facilities are in the middle of the site.
Having animals around the edges is brill the kids ( and myself) love the fact the can touch and feed them.
The shop is stocked with all the things you may forget and very reasonable
Having communal fridges and freezers, microwave is a great touch
And I have never been to a site who have a full size bath in the family bathroom with a baby bath too, not many young children like showers, great touch.

Don’t change what your doing

Not sure how you can improve
Maybe a pool:-)

Thanks for your great hospitality

Superb from the moment we got there to the moment we left!
Being used to our materialistic lives, it took a lot of persuasion but I eventually managed to get my hubby to agree to go camping for a short break with our 1 year old. Pitchperfect Camping came up with many positive reviews and in an area easily accessible to many attractions so I thought I'd give it a go (though very nervous as I had no idea what I should be looking for in a camp site).
Upon arrival we were swiftly checked in with a big friendly welcome and as we were the only ones using the site during our stay, we had free reign to pick any pitch.
Being first-timers, we were really impressed by the helpfulness of James & Emma in helping us get set up and ready for our "adventure". I quickly realised the facilities available are fantastic and more like a hotel than what I expected from a campsite. The pitch was of ample size and we had a little kitchenette to use. There is a shop onsite with all the "essentials" and then some. We took a particular liking to the local ciders on offer!
James & Emma are very knowledgeable about the local attractions, so much so that we scrapped our original plan and went with their recommendations. They ticked all the boxes! There is a discount available for booking with Pitchperfect for Longleat and they also recommended Whitrod Farm Shop that we spent around 3 hours at as there is so much to do and see there.
Overall a fantastically comfortable stay and thoroughly enjoyed. Rebooked for next year!

Facilities include;
Optional electric at pitch
Communal ladies toilets & showers with hair dryer
Communal men's toilets & showers
1 family bathroom (big enough for buggy)
Communal utility room with sinks, microwave, fridge, freezer & odd spares
Shop
Playground, play cabin and further games dotted around site

There were also some lovely animals on site, but all really well behaved and very quiet!

We stayed in the Bow top wagon. Emma and James were very welcoming and made our stay thoroughly enjoyable, the wagon was brilliant and very cosy with the burner lit. Our daughter loved toasting marshmallows over the firepit and the childrens play equipment was the best we have come across. Access to Bath was easy and we can recommend the Red Lion for food. Highly recommended.

A very pleasant campsite, with good customer service. The site is very clean and well maintained throughout. We stayed on the weekend of 29th September 2017.

This time of year most campsites are quiet, and this one was no exception Just the way we like it. The pitch size is very generous with ample room to fit a large family tent, car and gazebo etc. All pitch's are looking onto the green/camp playing ground, so you are not back to back with fellow campers or squashed like a sardine can. The pitch's are clearly numbered. We booked a Electric pitch for a family of three with our Dog. The site offers very clean ablution with lovely warm showers, a family bathroom, with some lovely touches like a free hairdryer, potty, toddler toilet seat. The washing up area is the best I have seen, with washing machines and tumble dryers at a reasonable price. A French dresser filled with items to borrow which we all forget time to time “A brilliant touch”. The use of children's bikes, trampolines, play area and a shed for the children to play in this has a football table and some books. If I had any suggestions it would be to place a bench in the shed with some boardgames to borrow from reception. This is NOT a criticism I must add. Being that impressed we booked for the October half term, and looking forward to getting a fire up and running.
Thank you for a lovely Stay James and Emma.
