That somes it up. We wanted a base in a quaint mountain village with amenities from where we could set off each day for something different. Shop on the doorstep, no noise when its time for sleep and near enough to walk into the village and soak up the peace and culture so rare to find all in one place. There is everything you need to self cater if that's your thing. I was very comfortable there.

1 review the house itself,was well stocked, i.e, ,,books .dvds,towels,bedding, all appliances in p.w.o..cleaning products, suncreams etc...useful stuff that you didnt have to buy and add onto your shopping bill...the complex itself was really clean,as was the pool,also the neighbours were quite friendly at the same time respecting each others privacy...big plus there..the village was fantastic,,really friendly locals in the shops and bars...we had a couple of good nights with our gang of kids in a restaurant down the end of the road,(the one facing the lemon tree pub),a proper spanish owned and run place,,,prices were unbeatable..and the food was good...for the big shop you need to drive villajoyosa,20 mins drive, but if you are not shopping for 6 kids, the local convenience shops,butchers and bakery will do fine...we may be coming back again if the price of the rental stays as keen as it is..good value for money.
