A little gem in a much undiscovered and improving French town nestling in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Close to a lovely square with plenty of eateries and evening entertainment. This property would suit walkers, cyclists and families requiring a budget holiday base and only a euro or 2 from Carcassonne which is a beautiful mediaeval City. Definitely worth a stay and have booked for a week next year.
We loved the bars and cafes in Quillan and the small shops. The house had everything we needed for our weeks holiday.
The 1 euro transport system was amazing which means you can explore the area for little cost.
Excellent base from which to explore the region. Accommodation typically French - informal and relaxed.
I have just enjoyed a weeks stay in a lovely little 3 bedroom town house in this delightful town. All necessary amenities; microwave, dishwasher, washing machine are available. One bedroom is ensuite and there is a further shower and separate WC. The weather was very good for the time of year and the locals are very friendly. A good place to practice your French although some English is spoken. Cafe Fleure and Le Terminus provide Internet access for the price of a drink and the Internet cafe is open for check-in and ticket printing. I can thoroughly recommend this accommodation and I am looking forward to my next visit.
