***** Highly recommend! This is where we had our spring break - my partner, two (!) teenagers and I. Each seeking our own unique and very different holiday adventures. We each found what we needed in Andalucia and made our holiday home at La Molina.
La Molina is a unique eco campsite & glamping situated in the heart of Andalucia. Family and gay friendly. Created and hosted with care and love by Karen and Carola.
Very cozy, off grid bespoke studios, with log burners (for me ideal that there was no TV, Wifi etc!) the teens could walk up to Setenil (15minutes) and get their 'hit'...so could we (my parnter and I) when we needed the wifi too...and of course sneak in a tasty glass of wine in one of the local cafes/bars.
Karen and Carola keep a fanastic organic garden
in and around you their is an abundance of bird song - I am sure that every species of bird in Spain must live in the valley
We could easily have spent every hour of our ten days at La Molina - reading, playing music, talking and relaxing - however, as we were with teens we balanced our time with plenty of exploring and adventure.
La Molina was a wonderful base for us to begin and to return too....and in between days of adventure to simply hang out.
A ten minute walk from historic village Setenil in Andalucia, 20 min drive to Ronda and 1.5 hours to Seville (amazing city to fly into and visit on way out or in)
We even took the mountain road and drove to the coast one day (2 hours) but worth the day trip.
Locally there is horse riding, fine dining, caves - an absolute must go to!, absailing and more....so plenty to satisfy interests.
Netx time we will go is likely to be without the now nearly 17 year old twins...my partners and I look forward to returing one day for a more low key time...simply hanging out at La Molina with gentle walks in local area and visits to Setenil for our shopping.
There you have it .....our recommendation for those that seek something a bit different
