The house waw lovely and the views stunning. Sadly it was filthy. We had to wash everything we used. There was a dish with old food still in the cupboard. Old dirty towels in the bathroom. Unfortunately we had our son and his girlfriend from Japan with us.
A beautiful 'home' - the pictures do not do it justice!!!! Inge is a wonderful hostess and makes you feel at home inmediately!!! If i was asked out of 10 it would have to be a 12!!!! Stunning - best of all the places we have stayed in - in Marloth Park!!! Space - clean - loving cared for. We all agreed we will be back to stay...
The house is huge, comfortable with the interesting addition or a raised walkway with wonderful views over the crocodile river. The garden is beautiful. The owner feeds the bush babies, kudos birds etc.
The area is pleasant, we went for an evening drive around Kruger which is very accessible. There are good restaurants, a supermarket handy and the owner lives in a house immediately next door. Inge is very helpful, kind, generous and helpful. The small pool in the garden is wonderful on a hot day. We did have a small problem with the water heater but inge was therein a moment to fix it.
We were very pleased with the accomodation - hostess was very friendly and helpfull. On arrival we received welcoming drinks and Inge showed us around.
The house accomodates everyone - you can sit on the deck or watch tv or play some boardgames. The dischwasher was a big treat!
The house was very clean - and Inge cleaned it every day.
We will recommend this with a open hart .
We (family of 4) stayed at Bona Ngwenya to visit the Kruger Park. The location of the house is fantastic, directly along the Crocodile river. The viewing deck provides a wonderful place to have your breakfast and start with spotting the wildlife. From the viewing deck we have seen: Lions(!), hippo's, crocodile, elephants, impala, Kudu and a wide variety of birds including the fish eagle.
The house is very well equipped and there is nothing that we missed. The BBQ area (Braai) is great and we enjoyed several evenings of eating outdoors listening to the animals and watching the Bush Baby;s and bat's. The cleaning of the house was included and it was immaculate! In the surrounding area the Kruger Park is the main attraction, but a day travel to the Panorama route is also possible.
In Marloth park you find shops with the basic necessities.
