There are SOOOO many great pizzas in Costa Rica it's astounding. Beats Italy hands down (and yes I've been thee, incluging Napoli, the birth place of garbage pizza; i#s really the Yanks who turned it into an art form, from NY to Pittsburgh to Chicago to sourdough splendor in San FRan). From Dibartolos to iLpADRINO TO Bacchus to Pan y Vino to Ginos to the Corner even the US Papa Johns... I'm sorry. It's a tico chin, and I wich them the best, but thin dull crusts, uninspiring sauce, weak cheese. Who eats here? Why? Even the wine list sucks. And they don't know how to store it. In a country TOO full of Italian restaurants, WHy does this place exist? And survive? It baffles the pizza gourmand mind.
