We had booked a visit to Edinburgh but wanted to tag on a few extra days to our holiday. Having seen this event we decided to stay nearby. What a lovely way to spend Easter Day with young children. Plenty of parking, lots to do, good activities and very child friendly. My only comment is that service was slow in the very busy cafe but it was only their there’s day open this season and they were very busy so I’m sure it would be fine any other time. My husband enjoyed a visit to the Brewery Shop as well. Highly recommended.

House not openned until April but had the pleasure of walking around grounds. Maze was hilarious and spent a while there... Riverside walk beautiful. Peacocks wander around.

Ample parking space, well organised tours and a lot to see in a building which has a long history and contains many original artifacts. The Bear gates which have been locked since the treaty of union, and it is suggested will remain locked till Scotland is once again a free country.Small brewery on site with a well stocked shop.

We were passing through so stopped here for a look around. Very historic and interesting. We visited the brewery shop and sampled some of the local ales. The man in the shop was very friendly and welcoming. We then had a walk round the grounds which were very well kept and had lots of interesting facts. Then went to the maze. It was amazing (get it ha)
