We stumbled across the cafe whilst looking for a fuel stop and decided to have a late lunch. The young lady server not only served up delicious, wholesome food she also provided us with an excellent recommendation and directions for a hotel in north Vancouver for that evening.

Brackendale is not exactly on the main route but this cafe is worth a small detour and lets you get away from the chain offerings for a while.

This little cafe is worth a slight detour off the main route between Vancouver and Whistler. I was lucky enough to be directed here by a Squamish resident and I am so glad I made the effort! What I found was a quirky little cafe with very friendly staff who could not have been more attentive. My breakfast of avocado and tomato on toast was delicious. How I wish I lived closer so that I could visit again!

On our drive to Whistler and stopped to get gas and asked a local about a place for lunch! What a great recommendation! Down to earth, fabulous food, excellent service! They have live music a couple of nights! Looks like it would be a fun place at night too!

We live in Squamish and have been here twice before for breakfast and it was okay - the food was average (service was not great). Had dinner there tonight and it was possibly the worst meal all of us have had in years. If you want to get sick I would definitely recommend the poutine We would have complained while at the restaurant but of course the service was non existant. Do not go here!

We looked forward to eating here after hearing so many good things about it. The experience was disappointing
Despite being quiet, service was slow and marked by confusion between the two servers. The food when it eventually arrived was only fair, and was barely worth the money.
What saved the evening for us was the personality of our server, once she realised her role was to record our eating plans, and to bring it to us.
