What a fantastic place this is. We have attended the first two BBQ's of this season on a Thursday evening. The produce used could not be fresher all sources from the farm. The vegetable dishes and salads produced are so different and inventive. The cost of £15 a head is such good value for 3 courses. A little off the beaten track but well worth finding. Booking essential. Arrive early to look around the farm the shop and the various craft areas. The herb garden is full and courses run regularly with B&B accommodation available. Chris and his team do a fantastic job.

We absolutely love The Old Dairy kitchen. We've eaten there on their Wednesday and Saturday lunches and on their fabulous "Feast" evenings. Chris Onions is an astounding chef and what he does with the local and seasonal produce is always exciting and delicious. Atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. This is the new way to eat out for sure!

Went for lunch ( pre booked ) and wasn't sure what to expect. As it turned out the food was so good and different and the staff could not have been more helpful and polite. You need to be aware it is a sort of communal dining with tabled of 8 or so but that to me adds to the enjoyment as it's good to meet new people. I would recommend it for many reasons.

We went for lunch at Trill Farm Old Dairy on Saturday and it was the most delightful experience. Unassuming and charming - local, seasonal food - beautifully cooked and presented in a large warm room with a big wood table that all the guests sat round. Good value for all the food we had. Can't recommend it highly enough - we will be going back asap. Food served to table and everyone can help themselves - no menu to chose from.
