This is a great little wildlife park. Lots to see and loads of play equipment about. It kept my 4 year old and 1 year old entertained for a day. They also got the chance to stroke a tortoise, a snake and an armadillo.

A lovely little wildlife park, ideal for all ages.lots of kids play areas, lots of little areas to sit and enjoy ice creams, drinks or something else from the cafe, and to top it all off-a lovely little gift shop with a wide variety of reasonably priced gifts.
A perfect day out.
Easy walking, not to big but lots to see.

It's a nice little place. It's more like loads of little play areas with some animals dotted around. Only really for up to 8-10yrs old. They did get out some snakes which didn't seem fussed about kids stroking and or holding them so the kids enjoyed that. The coffee was not good. The kids had a good time, but not really any better than a good play park. The staff were all really nice and seemed to care about the animals and we're all very amiable.

Axe Valley has a variety of animals to see, including some I've never heard of. On the day we visited, we joined the talk for the millipede and parrots, which was informative and interesting. We was able to feed the free range birds which is great when you've got kids.
Staff are friendly and attentive. Ice creams and admissions were good value for money and the cleanliness of the toilets were 100%. There were sinks in several locations throughout the park.
They also have several play areas set up in different places across the park, which is great in covid times as people won't have to congregate in the same place. This was my first time seeing a zebra up close and they were just beautiful.
A great experience over all.
