We have had the privilege of going to this restaurant in Cres for 10 years now and it is, quite simply, the best! Zoran Tomic is a fabulous host and his wife, Dika Tomic, runs the best kitchen in Cres. The quality of the food is outstanding, with an excellent varied menu for such a small kitchen and the prices are unbelievable in terms of the value you get for money! If you are in Cres you really must go to Al Buon Gusto for the very best experience you can imagine. Excellent food, with excellent service in the most charming venue. Please do try this restaurant. I would be extremely surprised if you were disappointed with your visit! We come back again and again, as we cannot find a better place to eat in Cres!

Having sailed in on a wet , wet, windy day at the start of September, we were in need of good comfort food. Six of the 7 of us had the grilled lamb - it was scrumptious. Those who had starters had the octopus salad and that too was lovely. It is a nice cosy restaurant and. Per the title, the food was top notch. If you want the roasted lamb you have to give a day's notice. Definitely recommend this place

The owner was very friendly, he even did his best to talk French with us. The food was awesome and the peacefulness of the small terrace in the shade was priceless on a warm and sunny day.

This place looked like real deal as it is a family business and meals are prepared in a traditional fashion. We sat on the terrace for a few minutes and one quite unfriendly man cam and told us that the kitchen is opened till 14:00!! As we were quite shocked and didn't know what to say the man said "The kitchen is closed!" not even offering something to drink. That's rude.

Kids are really welcome , meal is just fantastic , I suggest you to try the fish assortments for two. We had our lunch outside on a real quiet place.
