The location is perfect. Walking distance from the beach and local shops and restaurants. Sifis and his family are the perfect hosts and make you feel very welcomed. We will defiantly return as this trip was very special to us and believe we have found a location to return to every year. Sifis really goes the extra mile as a host. I would also like to think of Sifis as a good friend after the short stay we spent with him.
If you get a chance to read this Sifis and Ellaini, Peter and Michaela thank you so much for your hospitality and we are looking forward to seeing you soon. Thankyou
Located about 15 minute walk up a steepish hill, these apartments have stunning views over Georgiouplois. The walk down is fine but going back up is a bit of a challenge even for the able bodied! So you need either a hire car or to get a cab. The apartments are rustic but clean and with everything you need. The owner Sifis is very helpful. He gave us a lift to the supermarket on day one and will come and pick you up from town - but we didn't like to take advantage of this too much. The pool is lovely with a children's part and plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. The nice thing about being out of the town is that it's very quiet at night and there is a bit more of a breeze. We enjoyed our stay.
Me and my partner stayed here for a week leaving 08.08.17, from the moment we arrived Sifi and his family were very welcoming, rooms were spacious and the pool was always quiet. Nothing was to much trouble for them. The hotel is in good location about 5 mins from the centre of Georgioupolis by car but Sifi would always offer to take you there and a taxi is €5, we would highly recommend as this little hotel made our trip more special than any larger chain hotels we have stayed in.
This was a holiday I booked for me, my daughter and her boyfriend. Unfortunately, I fell ill before travelling and couldn't go but I persuaded my daughter and her boyfriend to go without me and they had a great time. They stayed in a studio apartment which they liked very much. They had no rental car so stayed fairly local but found plenty to do. They said the pool was very nice, found the walk to the beach quite easy and enjoyed a couple of trips, one on a boat stopping at various swimming spots and one using a quad bike to a local lake where they hired a peddle boat across to the other side, where they could see some turtles swimming. They were also pleased that the owner of the apartment picked them up from the bus stop on the first day and dropped them back there when they were leaving. All in all, they had a great time and are keen to return - hopefully with me next time! Incidentally, the communication (through Charis) before the holiday was excellent and she gave us helpful advice about travel and other things.
The location is excellent. It is near Kalivaki sandy beach. We took a car for 9 days and enjoyed certain amazing places nearby. However, if you do not have a car the owner is always ready to pick you up in the village which is 1 km from the villa. The road goes uphill. So, if you have children, it is better to rent a car to go from the beach or just call Sifis (the owner). The room is clean and has everything you need to stay at night. The owner's hospitality is outstanding and I will certainly recommend this villa for all who wnat to enjoy Crete. Free sun beds are available at Paradise beach which is about 1,5-2 km from Kalivaki beach near the villa.
